About The Summit

The fabled futures we imagined were far different from the future we are experiencing today. As we come to grips with a transformed world, it’s time we reinvent wheels and redraw blueprints of how this future must look like. And that planning begins now.

Discover technology, process, culture, skills and policy… to create a robust foundation for the future of work. The conclave will centre its discussions around hiring trends, upskilling, hybrid working models, learning & development, gig economy, HR Tech, employee counselling & assessment in pandemic times.

We aim to bring HR leaders, upskilling and ed-tech platforms, tech innovators, academics, career counsellors, policymakers, collaboration platforms, financial experts, entrepreneurs, influencers and industry stalwarts on our platform. Through this conclave, we’ll address India’s largest cohort: our workforce. The many qualitative changes in India’s job market, and the lack of quantifiable changes, deserve to be discussed time and again in a young, aspirational, career-driven country.

“There has never been a time of greater promise, or greater peril.”

That’s the description of the fourth industrial revolution by Klaus Schwab the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. Indeed, a paradigm shift in tech capabilities promises to take humans to the edge of space. Now, more than ever, there is a need to raise awareness and help people find a place for themselves in a future only imagined by sci-fi writers and filmmakers.

McKinsey estimates that 45% of the work done by humans can be automated. The good news is only 5% of the jobs could be completely carried out by bots. But who knows how many more leaps in technology will we see in the days to come?

Business Insider India is bringing together some of the biggest thought leaders, both from India and abroad, who will guide, not just the job seeker, but the creators and the enablers to ensure that there are more people basking in the light of this glorious future than those who are edged out into the shadow of despair.
